Description
The wine is clear, fairly viscous and straw yellow in colour with golden highlights. The bouquet is fairly intense, led by ripe fruit notes (banana, pineapple). These are joined by white blossom (acacia flower) and grassy aromas (freshly cut grass).
The nose is rich and elegant.
On the palate, the wine is moderately fresh and warm, flavourful and dry. A very well balanced, harmonious wine, ready to drink. It is currently at its peak, which may last another two to three years.
Recommended with cold starters and mildly aromatic warm dishes, such as risotto with curd cheese, broccoli and mascarpone, or tofu with dates, pineapple and fresh cucumber.
Can also be served with young, mildly flavoured cow’s cheese.
